You can also hire mopeds, boats and various other water sports in Puerto Pollensa.

A local festival in Pollensa

Pollensa hosts an international music festival and a lively arts scene, centring on the Fauvist artist, Dionis Benessar. The ancient streets of Pollensa have a spectacular market on Sundays and several fiestas, including the re-enactment of the battle of the Christians and the Moors (Aug 2nd), Easter processions and others. The Placa Mayor is a great place to unwind with several cafes and bars spilling out onto the square into the early hours.
